Apartment Structure Fire
Posted On: Oct 07, 2017

Emergency crews responded to a residential fire at around noon on Sunday when an apartment building caught fire on Audrey Court in south Missoula.

Missoula Rural Fire District  Battalion Chief Blaine Cowan says no one was injured, however, two cats and an iguana died in the fire. Cowan said the apartment appears to be a total loss and neighboring apartments sustained a lot of smoke damage.

A phone book delivery man was first on scene and kicked in the door, but had to step back due to the heat and smoke. The cause of this fire is under investigation.
